For some reason it seems like most monsters and baddies get year-round love, yet witches are always associated with Halloween? What gives? These badass sorceresses are perennial figures — they don’t just stomp through the woods to capture newt tails for their potions in the Autumn months, and they don’t take a break from cooking the toes of children in the summer just because the kids are out of school. But seeing as it’s the witching season, we might as well pay tribute to some of the fiercest, scariest, and sometimes funniest enchantresses in pop culture history. Here are a few of our favorites.
