New on Netflix July 24: The Kissing Booth 2

Cheesy romantic comedy fans start your engines because after its amazing debut in 2018, the Netflix-original teen film The Kissing Booth has its sequel! Based on the sequel novel by Beth Reekles, The Kissing Booth 2 catches up with Elle ‘Shelly’ Evans (again played by Joey King) and her best friend Lee as they enter their senior year of high school. Elle’s heartthrob boyfriend (Jacob Elordi also reprises this role) is far away at Harvard, and soon the couple learn how hard long distance can be. So when a hot new boy enters their class, things get even more complicated. And, when you tack on looming college decisions, Elle is hit with some major life decisions that may affect her relationship, her friendship with her best friend and much more. We cannot wait to dive into this deliciously-cheesy romcom again, especially because it is one of the top movies to watch this month on Netflix. So put on some chapstick and pucker up, because The Kissing Booth 2 is what to watch on Netflix this weekend!
