Prodigal Son, Fox’s serial killer series, had us hooked with a first season packed with drama, mystery and twists and turns. Tom Payne stars as Malcolm Bright, a talented criminal profiler who is haunted by his past when a copycat killer begins murdering victims using the same methods as Malcom’s father Martin, a serial killer nicknamed “The Surgeon,” once used.
After 20 episodes, Season 1 ended with an explosive finale last April. And after waiting for months, we’re finally seeing more of Malcom, Martin, and more of the Prodigal Son cast with the premiere of Season 2.

Fans will have to wait just a bit longer to see new episodes of the Tom Payne and Michael Sheen series — Prodigal Son is not on tonight, but it does come back this month.

Thankfully, you don’t have to wait too long to see Prodigal Son. The Season 2 premiere is scheduled for next week, kicking off on Tuesday, Jan. 12 at 9/8c on Fox.

Yes, Prodigal Son is on Hulu. Ahead of next week’s Season 2 premiere, you can catch up on all of Season 1 on Hulu, where it’s available with a standard subscription. If you’re hoping to watch Prodigal Son live on Jan. 12, you can also stream Season 2 on Fox through Hulu + Live TV.
