Concrete Cowboy, Idris Elba‘s new Netflix movie coming to the streaming service tomorrow, is a new kind of western.

Inspired by the true story of the Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club—which is a real non-profit horseback riding club in north Philadelphia that hopes to maintain a long tradition of Black urban cowboys—this film stars Stranger Things actor Caleb McLaughlin as a teenage boy named Cole who is sent to live with his father (Elba). While Cole is interested in getting mixed up in the shady business being conducted by his friend Smush (Emmy-nominated When They See Us star Jharrel Jerome), his father tries to teach him the value of hard work and community through the Fletcher Street riding community.

It’s a moving father and son drama that will no doubt educate many about the real-life Fletcher Street Urban Riding Club. Here’s everything you need to know about the Concrete Cowboy release date and the Concrete Cowboy release time.
