Mark Consuelos and Jimmy Fallon‘s rivalry as they competed for the title of People‘s Sexiest TV Host came to a halt when Consuelos was crowned victor, and Fallon rose above it — with a whole lot of blooms.

The Tonight Show host joined Consuelos and Kelly Ripa on Live with Kelly and Mark on Friday, but before the three got to chat, Ripa and Consuelos revealed what they came home to the night before.

“We both thought that something happened and that we were bereaved, because what arrived in our house was what I can only describe as the most… consequential flower arrangement I’ve ever seen,” Ripa recalled.

Consuelos added, “We both said, ‘Who died?'”

They described the enormity of the arrangement, noting that “the vase was about four feet tall” and that it consisted of “500-plus roses.” Ripa said the arrangement “looked like a Rose Bowl Float,” while Consuelos teased, “When I put it down on the ground, it was just a little bit taller than me.”

Ripa then shared a video of Consuelos alongside the flowers, reading aloud a note from Fallon.

“To the sexiest talk show host out there, there never really was any competition. Jimmy,” Consuelos said in the video.

After Ripa proposed that they divvy up the “massive” arrangement of roses into separate vases, Consuelos teased, “He’s trying to butter me up for today’s show.”

Ripa asked why Fallon would need to butter him up, telling Consuelos he “should have sent [Fallon] the roses.”

“I know, I should have,” Consuelos admitted. “My condolences.”

Ripa added, “You should have sent him tiny baby roses,” to which Consuelos suggested, “With baby’s breath.”

Later on in the episode, as Fallon made his entrance, he bowed down to Consuelos, and the three addressed the flower bouquet once he sat down.

“Have you ever gotten that many flowers from a grown man before?” Fallon joked.

Consuelos replied, “Never.”

Fallon added, “I’m starting a GoFundMe page for that.”
