“I Remember” is the title track from AlunaGeoge’s sophomore album. The song was premiered on Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 Show in April 2015 and then released as the second single off the record, following the tropical banger “I’m In Control”.
Singer Aluna Francis explained to the show’s host how their collab with Australian producer Flume became a reality. “They all had various random collisions at festivals they were booked to play”, reports Billboard. “Backstage we got chatting about what could do together in the studio,” recalled Francis. “As musicians we can’t resist having a collab.”
“I Remember” wasn’t the only Flume & AlunaGeorge collaboration track released in 2016. The duo was also featured on “Innocence”, one of the standout cuts from Flume’s sophomore project, Skin.
