Genius Annotation

“These Colours Don’t Run” is another politically charged song by the British band Architects.
In a 2015 Noisey interview, Tom Searle shared that this song is a general statement on hypocrisy and was written about the destruction of America due to human intervention, stating that:

America is a driving force behind a lot of the bad things in the world [and that] their corporations and businesses are fried and they’ve gone and destroyed other places in the world. And England is complicit to everything America does.
