You Problem is a collaboration between songwriters Cloudy June and Emlyn, and was released on February 17th, 2023.
The song details a toxic relationship with someone who is going through the same pains June went through after their breakup, calling it karma and a ‘you problem’.
Originally envisioned with just Cloudy June, You Problem was first teased on TikTok by showing her best friend the song, garnering their reaction. Prior to the open verse challenge, Emlyn reacted to the song, by request of her followers, asking to get on the track. After it started gaining traction, Cloudy June made a open verse challenge, with Emlyn making her own verse to the challenge. Cloudy June loved her verse so much, it dawned the collaboration between the two.

‘You Problem’ came to be in a session with emlyn, one of my favourite artists. We both are unapologetic in our songs and we both have had experiences with toxic men. ‘You Problem’ is aimed at these men who try to keep you down in order to protect their own fragile ego and ultimately end up alone because of their behaviour. If you treat others badly and then wonder why they turn away from you – that’s on you.
