“Step Out” sees Gucci Mane collaborating with Future and his fellow 1017 Eskimo labelmate Foogiano.
The three artists rap about their expensive clothing and jewelry throughout the track, setting the tone of flexing on their haters. Whilst also touching on their weaponry, the three drop references to drugs.
This was originally Foogiano’s track with Gucci Mane as the only feature, as the two previewed this track on June 12, 2020. When the track was previewed initially, it did not feature any vocals from Future.
