Super Star Lyrics
Thank you
I love you too
Thank you very much
[Violent J]
If I had things my way, I wouldn't be a zero
Rather be respected like Perry Farrell
Every album I touch, 5 mics
I'd be on MTV with Tommy Lee riding dirt bikes
Me and Fred Durst cooking bratwurst
At one of Hugh's barbecues with those bunnyskirts
I wouldn't need a barricade at my shows
Cause it would be nothing but celebrity friends the first 10 rows
I'd have a 90 pound slut on my arm
Who looks like a little skinny dude with a perm
But she's a supermodel and she works in Brazil
And her daddy plays polo on the isle of Nagil
I remember when I met her at a party in France
I sent her a rose with a note "May I have this dance?"
Juggal- what? I don't even know who they are
If I had things my way, I'd be a superstar
[Chorus]
I'm so famous I'm so sweet
I'm so delicate, unique
Call my publicist one time
I'm so fashion, I'm divine
I'm so famous I'm so sweet
I'm so delicate, unique
Call my publicist one time
I'm so fashion, I'm divine
I got a call this morning, Dennis Rodman & Carson Daly
They want to meet me up for lunch at the Bayley
And I don't even know them people
But we famous, so we consider each other equal
Where am I from? Oh yeah, Detroit city
I remember that tiny little town, so itty bitty
I think I used to have some family there
In fact I wonder if - hmm - anyway, Jacques, do my hair
Sniffing cocaine off of crystal counter top
Kissy face, sucking on her ruby red lollipop
Shaggy who? Wash me clean of the ghetto
I sleep on a mattress sprinkled with rose petals
Make my music, write my song, I'll come sing it
And when the royalty check comes, better bring it
Mr. masseuse come and rub me down gently
Mom, here's the keys, go and wash the Bentley
[Interlude: Psychopatrick]
Let me tell you I drove for that guy, I know him. I swear to God. We went to Las Vegas, he gave everyone of us $1500 a day, just to piss away on the tables. I couldn’t believe it. This guy, he had so many women, he had an entourage of at least 30 guys in and off my damn bus all day long. I couldn’t believe it. Just every day, it was a new woman. Every day, it was 30 new people, you know? He had gold, he had diamonds, anything you want. I told him about my mortgage on my house: $80,000. I swear to God, true story, this guy gave me $80,000, said, "You don't have to worry about it now, cuz. I couldn't believe it
Superstar....
[Chorus]
I'm so famous I'm so sweet
I'm so delicate, unique
Call my publicist one time
I'm so fashion, I'm divine
I'm so famous I'm so sweet
I'm so delicate, unique
Call my publicist one time
I'm so fashion, I'm divine
I ain't gay or nothing, I just did it for kicks
I like to play the crazy rock star, it helps my rep
You should've seen me at the movie premiere with Johnny Depp
I love Hollywood parties, I live like a star
I'll kiss your ass, even if I don't know who you are
I'll jump in your pictures and I'll get in your way
I'm annoying as fuck, I'm like that one kid from Sugar Ray
Do I remember Twiztid? of course I do
Twisted Sister, They used to play with Motley Crue
Oh you mean them rapper kids that were down with me?
No, I don't recall, excuse me, security
I don't need old friends, I'm way bigger
Sorry, my phones ringing, it's Tommy Hilfiger
I'll see you when I see you, if I remember who you are
After all, you're talking with the superstar
[Chorus]
I'm so famous I'm so sweet
I'm so delicate, unique
Call my publicist one time
I'm so fashion, I'm divine
I'm so famous I'm so sweet
I'm so delicate, unique
Call my publicist one time
I'm so fashion, I'm divine

This song was originally recorded as “Dot Com” for the Psychopathic release “Tales from The Lotus Pod”. In the booklet for Forgotten Freshness Vol. 3, it says that Violent J and Mike E. Clark had a late night studio session and ended up recording new songs over Dark Lotus beats. Both Super Star and It were recorded in that session and ended up making it to the third Forgotten Freshness album.

Shaggy 2 Dope discussed this song during the 2021 Patreon-exclusive livestream titled “Welcome to the Jam Exam, Episode 3: Forgotten Freshness”:
I fuckin' love that god damn song, dog. On the bridge in that song and shit, and I think on the hooks and shit, is one of our guys that worked for us and our boy back in the day, Patrick, Psycho Patrick. The skit in it is, like, a bus driver, like, just talking up this fuckin', like, superstar, somebody that he drove on his bus before. Because, dog, that’s all these fuckin' bus drivers do, is just talk to you about other motherfuckers they drove and how in effect they were. […] I fuckin' love that fuckin' song. It’s so fuckin' funny as shit, dog.
Also, the liner notes of Forgotten Freshness, Volume 3 describe the song’s creation:
Violent J and Mike E. Clark had yet another late night studio attack. They hit the studio around midnight and once again had an unplanned, surprise studio session. Just like before, they took an already finished Dark Lotus song, and muted all the existing vocals and, for no real reason at all, created a brand new song with the music. Just like the last time they did this, they once again had no idea what would ever become of the song. They created it strictly for the love of music. Thankfully, it found a home right here on FF3.
Violent J often raps a story through the eyes of another character. He did it on the song “Hellalujah”. He did it on “We Gives No Fuck,” and he does it again right here on “Super Star”. Just imagine how stale it would be if J or Shaggy really were like the way he’s rapping about!
