Fuck me like we're lyin' on our deathbed
I can feel the sudden emptiness
I'm here to grant your one last wish, so
Fuck me like we're lyin' on our deathbed
Hear the sadness in your laughter
She's afraid of what comes after me, true love
[Verse]
I don't know when I'll be back in town (Back in town)
All I know is that she'll wait around, for me
All I know is that she'll hold me down (All I know is that she'll hold me down)
My girl keeps all ten toes on the ground, for me
I can feel it, I can feel it now
I can feel you watchin' after me, holdin' my breath
[Bridge]
Catch a feelin'
Catch a feelin' now
I still feel your skin all over me
Sex with my ex
[Chorus]
Fuck me like we're lyin' on our deathbed
I can feel the sudden emptiness
I'm here to grant your one last wish, so
Fuck me like we're lyin' on our deathbed
I can feel the sudden emptiness
I'm here to grant your one last wish, so
I don't know when I'll be back in town (Back in town)
I'm here to grant your one last wish, so
[Post-Chorus]
One last, one last wish
[Outro]
Fuck me like we're lyin' on our deathbed
I can feel the sudden emptiness
I'm here to grant your one last wish, so
(Fuck me)

In an interview for Alternative Press magazine, Smokeasac breaks down the meaning behind the lyrics and recounts the recording context:
It was nothing too crazy, but they [Peep and his then-girlfriend, Layla “TooPoor” Shapiro"] were definitely fighting about something. He was pissed, and I was like, “Are you good?” He was like, “Yeah, let’s just fucking make a song. I need to get my mind off this shit.” And I was like, “Well, I Have some fucking sick beats.” It was just perfect. It was almost like everything was aligning in the most perfect way, I had this beat for him that was literally describing his mood at the time. He was fuming but also calm and focused.
He comes out to the living room. I’m playing this beat [over the speakers], and he just starts writting.“ I knew that he was writing something crazy because he looked a little more into it then usual, almost like he was typing an angry note to somebody.
We get in the studio–and it was always a mistery ‘cause I never knew what he was writting– we set up everything, [and] I sent him the beat. He starts singing about his singing about his ex, and I was like, “this is really odd.” I didn’t know who he was talking about. He finished recording. And I’m like, “Who are you talking about?” And he’s like, “I’m talking about Too Poor.”
It was basically him saying he knew they were going to break up. They borke up a few weeks later, I think. But after they broke up, he sent her this song and was like, “I wrote this about you.” She says she remembers hearing him sing the vocals. The timeline’s just weird: they’re still dating, [but] he’s calling her his ex in the song. It was just a funny night to me. It was his way of venting and also making a really good song at the same time.
