The title may have been inspired by the female scottish band “Sister Lovers” that Oasis knew before being signed. In fact, Sister Lovers helped Oasis get a chance to play at King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, where, by chance, Creation Record’s Alan McGee was visiting, he signed them that night, and the rest is history.
