‘Ca Plane Pour Moi’ was the 1977 euro-punk smash hit by Belgian singer/songwriter Plastic Bertrand.

The song was covered by many artists, though Plastic Bertrand’s original recording was the most successful, reaching No. 8 on the UK charts in the summer of 1978.

However, around 2010, Plastic Bertrand admitted that the voice that gave the world the 1977 Euro-punk anthem Ça Plane Pour Moi was in fact that of the song’s producer, Lou Deprijck. His admission came a day after a linguist commissioned by a judge concluded that the singer’s accent did not match the voice on the record.
