BLUE LIPS is LA rapper ScHoolboy Q’s sixth studio album, following May 2019’s CrasH Talk in his discography.
On February 1, 2024, Q released the album’s tracklist trailer on his YouTube channel. After the trailer teaser, he then promised on X that on every Tuesday and Thursday until the album’s release, they would be previewing bits of the album.
On February 6, 2024, the music videos for “Blueslides” and “Back n Love” were released to Q’s YouTube channel as previews.
On February 15, 2024, “Yeern 101” was released as the lead single to the album as it was released on all streaming platforms. The music video was also released.
