Don’t be fooled by the gimmicky smile of the Scrub Mommy sponge, because she’s the real deal. Partner to the original Scrub Daddy, which appeared on Shark Tank in 2012, Scrub Mommy, which we first wrote about in 2016 as a truly all-purpose sponge, has two sides — on one, a soft ResoFoam for general dishwashing, and on the other, a tough FlexTexture scrubber for getting off any stuck-on foods and residue without scratching surfaces. What makes it unique, though, is the way it responds to temperature. In cold water, the FlexTexture side hardens for extra-stubborn jobs, and in warm, becomes soft for lighter cleaning.
