ROSARIO HAS REEL CHANCE TO BEAT THE RAP

Sultry screen siren Rosario Dawson’s latest “movie” is getting a private screening – by the Manhattan DA’s Office.

Dawson, hoping to get charges against her dropped, has given prosecutors footage of her arrest for allegedly blocking Eighth Avenue during a mass protest of the Republican National Convention, her lawyer said yesterday.

It was shot by the crew filming Dawson’s latest flick – “This Revolution” – for which she was on location in the Fashion District, with a valid permit, at the time.

“She was filming a movie, she had a permit, and she got caught in this sweep – they were trapped,” her lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, said of Dawson and two others connected with the film and busted during the August protest.

“We are asking for an outright dismissal of this case, and we’re not going to take anything less.”

“This Revolution” is the story of a journalist who grows disenchanted with the establishment while covering protesters at a political convention.

Dawson was wearing a bandana across her face and refused to get out of the street, cops said.

Prosecutors are offering to dismiss the case only if Dawson returns to court with a clean record in six months.
