HAUTE LIST

BELIEVE the hype.

Downtown skate shop and international fashion label Supreme (274 Lafayette St., [212] 966-7799) rules the streets. And now they’ve got decks to prove it.

The store will release a limited run of skateboards from Japanese pop artist Takashi Murakami and his most famous assistant, MR. (Previous guest designers have included Jeff Koons and Richard Prince.)

Decks go on sale today at 11 a.m. at Supreme stores in New York, L.A. and Japan for $78 – a fraction of what you’ll get for them on eBay.

We’re just saying.

And for ladies who love street style but are sick of borrowing boyfriends’ hoodies, an answer: MadeMe.

“I’ve always worn guys’ hoodies, and I have a lot of guys’ denim,” says MadeMe designer Erin Magee, who is also design production manager at Supreme. “I live in that stuff, and now it’s time for us to be able to buy

our own stuff and feel cute and sexy in clothes that fit

us but are still inspired by men’s street fashion.”

Magee’s debut collection is small and sweet – a soft leather bomber jacket (above, $700), dark denim stovepipe jeans ($150), leggings (above left, $70) and graphic tees ($45) – and hits Valley (48 Orchard St.), Atmos (203 W. 125th St.), Reed Space (151 Orchard St.) and Union (172 Spring St.) on Oct. 1.

Buy the fountain of youth – at Barneys!

Water therapy is all the rage these days, with costly infused baths and water-based therapies popping up on spa menus from here to Helsinki. Now there’s an install-it-yourself way to get a mini spa treatment every time you shower.

Methven, the Kiwi (that’s New Zealand) purveyor of showerheads and faucets, makes its debut in the U.S. this week with the Satinjet Maia, a multifunctional shower head that not only dechlorinates but also infuses water with antioxidant vitamin C.

The shower head, which has won several design awards, uses twin jets to turn each normal-size droplet of water into thousands, delivering a luxe spray of 3,000 drops per second – ample shower power for the body but also gentle enough for facial massage.

The eco-conscious will be happy to know that the fixture meets the world’s strictest global water-conservation standards – it qualifies as a low-flow shower head even though it doesn’t feel like one. And those who crave additional pampering will soon be able to purchase add-on infusion cartridges (currently in development) that will contain herbs, Epsom salts and aromatherapy. Satinjet Maia goes on sale this week for $395 exclusively at Barneys New York.

Obsessions of the week

That’s tight: Tracey Reese and HUE have paired up this fall with luxe designer leggings and tights for less. Slip on a pair that come with built-in knee-length socks , $28 at Henri Bendel, or the thick striped knit ones, $70 at Bloomingdale’s.

The freshmakers: Try one of these new specialist mouthwashes: Supersmile Oral Rinse, $22 at supersmile.com; Go Smile Greater Than Rinse, $25 at skinstore.com; Crest Pro-Health Night rinse, $5.29 at drugstores.

No glove, no love: This new Comme des Garcons stretchy matte dress ($535 at Comme des Garcons, 520 W. 22nd St.) features sewn-on stuffed opera-length gloves – an easy way to achieve the flattering four-arm look we’re really digging this season.

Hot hair on a budget: Drugstore fave VO5 gets a brand-new look this week – crimson red packaging that’s red hot. Lots of people we know swear by the brand’s Extreme Style line Heat Defense conditioning spray for shine and style, $4 at drugstores.

Dream jeans: Before there was Siwy, Superfine and designer denim so expensive you were saving up rent money to buy pants, there was Ditto. It was the ’70s, your mom rocked the wide legs, and life was pretty good. And now they’re back. The candy-colored, high-waisted wide-leg jeans are so cute you won’t be able to resist. Get them in green, plum, steel or – our favorite – sapphire blue for $168 at Intermix (98 Prince St., [212] 966-5303).
