With Plaxico Burress suspended, Mario Manningham was hoping to recover from the flu quickly enough to get some real playing time this weekend against Seattle. But as of a few moments ago, the Michigan man was still at the hospital getting more tests done.
”He’s not that much better,” Tom Coughlin said. “We’re awaiting for further tests,”
Why?
“Well we’re just trying to find out why he’s continuing to be sick.”
Will he practice?
“I don’t know. Right now that’s up in the air. He’s not here at this moment, he’s at the hospital. We expect him back. That I probably won’t know his status until he gets here.”
And exactly what’s been wrong?
“He’s been vomiting…..I could be more descriptive….”
