A missing Bronx mom left behind a disturbing series of clues, according to detectives who this week discovered blood spattered in her apartment and car.

Joan Viau, 52, was last seen by her boyfriend outside her home on Carlisle Place in Olinville around 1 p.m. Monday, just before she left for unspecified treatment at a Veterans Affairs hospital on Kingsbridge Road.

Cops discovered blood in the car on Wednesday, and, the next day, in her home.

“I can’t sleep, I can barely eat, it’s terrifying,” Viau’s worried son Nicholas Duverge told CBS 2.

“She has rheumatoid arthritis,” he continued. “I just feel like something’s wrong.”

Meanwhile, Viau’s other son, Joseph Garcia, was arrested this week for using his mom’s credit card at an unspecified location, cops say.

Viau was living with her boyfriend and son, who both have prior arrests.

The case has not been deemed a homicide and no other arrests have been made.

Viau is described as about 5 feet 7 inches, weighing 135 pounds, with salt and pepper hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants and a pink shirt.
