A prominent consulting firm with close ties to the Clinton family has hired a former key member of Donald Trump’s inner circle, according to a report.
Teneo, founded by Bill Clinton’s longtime personal aide Doug Band, hired Trump’s former communications director Jason Miller, Axios reported in a newsletter.
Miller served as communications director during Trump’s presidential campaign, and was set to join the White House in the same capacity, but bowed out after allegedly being entangled in relationship with an ex- colleague.
Miller suddenly resigned on Christmas Eve to “spend more time with his family,” amid of rumors about him “spending time” with fellow adviser A.J. Delgado, Page Six reported.
On Twitter, Delgado said: “Congratulations to the baby-daddy on being named WH Comms Director!”
Before deleting her Twitter account, she called him: “The 2016 version of John Edwards.”
Miller will remain in Washington, DC and help Teneo make inroads in the Trump White House.
