Three isn’t a crowd when it comes to Savannah Chrisley’s budding romance with Detroit Pistons rookie Luke Kennard.
During an appearance Tuesday on E!’s “Daily Pop,” the “Chrisley Knows Best” starlet revealed she wasn’t worried about introducing outspoken dad Todd Chrisley to her new man, sharing he’s already given the relationship two thumbs up.
“Honestly, I wasn’t [afraid] because, for the first time, he’s an awesome human being,” Chrisley shared. “There was no hesitation about it. It started off very pure and right. [Todd] was involved from the very beginning. That’s the way to do it.”
Chrisley, 19, was previously linked to Memphis Grizzlies forward and model enthusiast, Chandler Parsons, earlier this year. Chirsley’s father blasted the idea of his daughter being dubbed another NBA conquest.
“Listen, he’s got a great personality. But, you know, he’s an NBA player,” Todd said of Parsons on “Access Hollywood Live” in February. “I think in the NBA, you know, they’re ho hounds. I mean, so you know, my daughter’s not gonna be on that list.”
As for his daughter’s latest love, Todd believes Kennard’s moral compass mirrors his own.
“She has been a ‘Shady Sheila’ in her past. We don’t have to worry about that because Luke is a wonderful, fine young man whose integrity and morals are beyond reproach,” he said.
Chrisley and Kennard, 21, made their debut as a couple at the NBA draft last month.
