Even Russia doesn’t want to host this neo-Nazi website

Even Russia doesn’t want the alt-right.

Moscow told a Russian internet provider to say nyet to The Daily Stormer, the notorious hate-spewing site that was booted earlier this week by GoDaddy and rendered unsearchable by Google.

After the GoDaddy eviction, The Daily Stormer found refuge with a Russian provider and briefly re-launched as DailyStormer.ru.

But the Russian watchdog group, Roskomnadzor, urged that .ru provider not take The Daily Stormer’s business. While Roskomnadzor’s request wasn’t an official order, the agency’s appeal is considered powerful.

“The Daily Stormer (spreads) a neo-Nazi ideology, inciting racial, national and other social hatred,” Roskomnadzor chief Alexander Zharov told the Interfax news agency.

By Thursday morning, only a cached version of DailyStormer.ru was available through a normal web browser. Is latest material was posted on Wednesday: “Full Video: Trump Gives SUPPORT to Charlottesville Demonstrators and CONDEMNS Antifa Terrorists!”

The Daily Stormer hasn’t been totally wiped off the web.

Racist netizens can use anonymizing services to go the dark web and get their daily dose of Daily Stormer hate.
