The Redskins won’t have to wait for Reuben Foster join their lineup.
The linebacker will be docked two game checks — but no game time — in coming off the exempt list after an NFL investigation did not find evidence that Foster violated the NFL’s personal conduct policy.
Foster was charged with misdemeanor domestic violence stemming from a Nov. 24 incident with his ex-girlfriend while a member of the 49ers in Tampa. San Francisco released him and he was claimed by the Redskins just three days after his arrest. The charges were dropped in January.
He missed two games at the beginning of the 2018 season due to separate misdemeanor charges for marijuana possession and gun possession.
