This is no smear campaign.
During her morning commute near Chicago, Taryn Elise totaled her Mini Cooper when she slammed into a car that abruptly stopped as she was changing lanes, Elise told Mashable.
Luckily, neither she nor the other driver was injured in the crash — and surprisingly, Elise’s lipstick barely smudged.
“If anyone is curious about how well @JeffreeStar lipstick holds up — I was just in a car accident and there are lipstick marks on the airbag but my face is OK,” Taryn wrote on Twitter.
After seeing the lipstick print on the airbag, Elise said her “first reaction was to look at my face, yes! I wiped away the nose makeup smears because my nose was running and it went with it.”
Elise’s unusual beauty review quickly became viral and caught the attention of Jeffree Star, who offered her free product from his cosmetics company.
“Holy s—-!!!! So glad that you’re safe and ok!! 😱 DM me, would love to send you a #BlueBlood palette to cheer you up!” Star tweeted at Elise.
The Youtube star-turned-cosmetics mogul is sticking to his word. Elise — who is glad she puckered up as well as buckled up — told Mashable that Star already asked her for her address so he could send her lipstick from his new collection.
