Josh Rosen is on the rebound.
The new Miami Dolphins quarterback didn’t waste much time gloating about the Friday NFL draft trade that finalized his long-anticipated Cardinals divorce.
“LETS GO BABYYYY!!!! C’mon Miami let’s ride !!!! Go fins !! 🐬🐬🐬,” he wrote on Instagram alongside a doctored image featuring him in a Fins’ uniform, shortly after the Cardinals shipped him and a 2020 fifth-round draft pick to South Beach for the No. 62 overall pick.
The 2018 10th overall pick didn’t bother wishing his now-former franchise a goodbye, not after it reportedly left him in the dark throughout the draft process as rumors swirled around his NFL future.
“I think when people talk about, like, you can’t listen to criticism or you can’t read articles, you have to be aware of what’s going on to a certain extent,” the quarterback told Sports Illustrated earlier this month. “I definitely understand the situation. It’s annoying, but it is what it is — football’s a business. I definitely respect the higher-ups and their decisions.”
Rosen’s time as a Cardinal was officially on the clock once Murray walked across the Nashville stage Thursday night, but potential trade suitors quickly evaporated as the Giants selected Daniel Jones with the sixth pick and the Washington Redskins snagged Dwayne Haskins 15th overall.
Rosen, whose stock dropped last season as the Cardinals embarked on a full-on tank, will join veteran Ryan Fitzpatrick in Miami for the equally woeful Dolphins.
