NYC pizza delivery man robbed, has ribs broken during assault: video
Two muggers viciously attacked a Manhattan delivery worker, pummeling and kicking him until they broke his ribs, cops said early Tuesday.
The 43-year-old victim, who works for Famous Amadeus Pizza in Hell’s Kitchen, was making a delivery at 7th Avenue and West 54th Street at 2:45 a.m. Jan. 2 when two men suddenly started punching and kicking him, police said.
They grabbed his phone and wallet, holding about $300, before taking off.
The victim, whose ribs were fractured during the attack, went to a local hospital by private means, cops said.
The suspects were still on the loose Tuesday.
The incident came 10 days before seven suspects ganged up on a 37-year-old Domino’s delivery man in The Bronx, brutally beating him and stealing $1,000.
