Luxury magazine publisher Jason Binn told The Post Thursday he didn’t sexually abuse a teenage female relative — and claimed the charges against him were concocted by his estranged wife as the pair duke it out in divorce court.
“Her case has no merit and is groundless,” Binn, 54, said by phone.
“It seems like a lot of people know it’s a domestic issue and it’s unfortunate for me.”
Binn, the publisher of DuJour Magazine, was arrested on Monday for allegedly grabbing a 16-year-old girl’s buttocks over her clothes after a luxury meal at Cipriani on Valentine’s Day, cops and law-enforcement sources said.
The jet-setting Hamptons mainstay, who’s rubbed elbows with everyone from Kris Jenner to former President Barack Obama, was hit with misdemeanor raps of forcible touching, endangering the welfare of a child and third-degree sex abuse, prosecutors said.
Law-enforcement sources said previously that the alleged victim went to file a complaint with police in April, and charges were brought this week.
It was not immediately clear how Binn is related to the alleged victim. He shares a son and two daughters with estranged wife Haley Lieberman, one of whom is 16, public records show.
A source close to Binn said the accuser’s identity was a “very delicate, sensitive topic.”
Binn and Lieberman, who wed in December 2003, filed for divorce in Manhattan supreme court in 2020.
During Binn’s arraignment in Manhattan Criminal Court Monday, the glossy magnate appeared disheveled in a black mask and white button down as he scampered through the courthouse with his attorney to avoid photographers.
He was released on his own recognizance and quickly left the building without commenting.
“This is unfortunately the latest chapter in a long and bitter divorce proceeding,” Binn’s divorce lawyer, Valentina Shaknes, said in a statement.
“We will not be commenting any further.”
Binn’s criminal defense attorney didn’t comment.
