This NYC home asks $19.8M — after selling for $16M just 7 months ago

A Tribeca penthouse with a private infinity pool on its rooftop terrace has hit the market for $19.8 million.

That’s quite a flip, since the seller — Wasatch Ranches LLC — bought it for $16 million a mere seven months ago, in September 2022, from National Bear LLC.

The duplex is at 169 Hudson St. in the landmarked Roebling Building, which is named after Brooklyn Bridge designer John August Roebling. It dates to 1893 and later became a warehouse for Roebling’s steel cable and wire rope manufacturing business in 1912.

A keyed elevator opens to the smart-wired, 5,269-square-foot home, which features four bedrooms, four bathrooms, two powder rooms — and 2,500 square feet of outdoor space over the two floors.

The interiors — by Cheryl Eisen’s Interior Marketing Group — are in warm neutrals and wood. Design details include high-beamed ceilings, oversize windows, a woodburning fireplace, mahogany trim, radiant-heated hardwood floors and a custom spiral cast-iron staircase that leads to the rooftop.

The home also boasts a great room, an open chef’s kitchen with a butler’s pantry and a main bedroom suite.

Building amenities include an interior courtyard, a gym, a media room, a wine cellar and a tasting room, plus storage.

The listing broker is Douglas Elliman’s Melissa L Hernandez.
