Video shows man perched outside car as it drives down California freeway
Shocking video has emerged online of a man hazardously perched on the driver’s side window of his car as it jets down a California freeway over the weekend.
The risk-taking motorist was spotted pulling the treacherous stunt Sunday on the 91 Freeway in Corona, California, according to KTLA.
Video provided to the news station by another motorist shows a man wearing a neon yellow T-shirt, dark pants and a red bandana tied around his head balancing on the ledge of the open window of a car.
The thrill-seeker’s entire body can be seen standing up straight outside of what appears to be a blueish-gray Nissan as it barrels down the California freeway.
The startling footage then shows the man opening his arms wide as the wind whips his shirt around.
The man eventually crouches down as if he were about to get back inside the car before he glances back at the cars behind him, seeming to flash a smile at the driver filming the dangerous stunt.
The car continues down the freeway with the man sitting on the open window, his legs now inside of the car.
It’s unclear if there was anyone else inside the car or how the car was maintaining its speed and steering as the man performed his risky stunt.
The speed that the car was driving down the freeway is also unknown.
It’s unclear whether police in Corona, a suburb of Los Angeles, are investigating the startling incident.
