Much like the rest of the “92 percenters,” Taylor Swift and Kylie Kelce also weighed in on Jason Kelce’s hilarious “New Heights” recap of his divisional-round playoff shenanigans Sunday in Buffalo.
Jason, who was supporting younger brother Travis as the tight end’s Chiefs topped Buffalo, 27-24, became one with Bills Mafia as he lost his shirt during a touchdown celebration and got chummy with fans outside of his Highmark Stadium suite, where wife Kylie and Swift were situated.
Not only did Swift — Travis’ girlfriend of several months — “like” an Instagram video of Jason’s explanation of the day, which was shared Wednesday on the “New Heights” page, but Kylie quipped about how she can use her husband’s words against him.
“‘I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.’ – the exact quote I will say when I’m grabbing the keys to go get a cat,” Kylie posted in the comments, which has amassed more than 144,000 “likes” as of Thursday.
During Wednesday’s recap on the “New Heights” podcast, the longtime Eagles center, 36, said he gave Kylie “a heads up” about his Buffalo game plan.
“Not gonna lie, I gave Kylie a heads up the moment we got into the suite. I said, ‘I’m jumping out there and taking my shirt off,’ and she said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare!’” Jason recounted to his listeners, dubbed the “92 percenters” in reference to the success rate of QB sneaks.
“I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.”
Kylie, who has been married to Jason since 2018, urged the Super Bowl champ to be on his “best behavior because” they were meeting Swift, 34, for the first time.
According to Travis, also 34, the pop megastar “absolutely loved” him.
The All-Pro tight end, who scored two touchdowns against the Bills, will now travel to Baltimore, where the Chiefs will face the Ravens in Sunday’s AFC Championship game.
Kansas City is looking to defend its Super Bowl title after defeating Jason’s Eagles last February.
