NFLer’s $20,000 sneaker collection found in auctioned storage unit

It’s a Maize and Blue goldmine.

A storage unit purportedly belonging to Cowboys star Mazi Smith, chock full of Michigan-exclusive shoes and apparel, was auctioned off with the buyer posting the treasure trove on TikTok.

Vincent Broadway claims he paid $1,880 for the unit, which garnered some attention due to the gun safe inside it.

For Broadway, whose TikTok bio claims he is a “reseller looking for cool finds,” the real find was several pairs of Michigan player-exclusive, limited-edition Nike sneakers and cleats worth an estimated $20,000.

“I’m not going to lie to you,” he says in the second part of the clean-out video. “I did not understand what I was dealing with when I started opening these.”

He pulls out boxes and boxes of sneakers, including Michigan Jordan 1 lows which are estimated to go for “thousands.”

One interesting fine appears to be the Smith’s notebook from team meetings with weightlifting info, though it is misidentified in the video as a playbook.

The unit also included a receipt from Cartier for a pair of $12,000 solid gold sunglasses.

Also found inside the unit were three or four boxes of Megabuck Halo Legos, unopened video games and a Louis Vuitton toiletry bag.

Smith, the 26th overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, can likely afford to let the treasure trove go after signing a four-year, $13.27 million deal before his first season in the NFL.

In his first NFL season, the defensive tackle played 16 games with three starts, adding one sack and 13 tackles.
