Why does CNN waste airtime on pro-terror has-been Mehdi Hasan?

Terror-loving talking head Mehdi Hasan is at it again!

This time, he’s slamming President Biden on CNN for risking “not only his own presidency but the future of American democracy for the sake of Benjamin Netanyahu” and “the rest of the fascists in Israel.”

Biden’s denunciations of Israel, you see, aren’t strong enough and have alienated the Democratic Party’s influential pro-terror caucus.

This is the second time in recent days Hasan’s trotted out this piece of agitprop for terror.

And he somehow strangely neglects Hamas’ rejections of ceasefire offer after ceasefire offer.

Indeed, Hasan added, “Joe Biden has the power to pick up the phone and end this war.”

Wrong again! It’s Hasan’s fave “militant” group that has that power: Send the hostages home and Israel’s humane and justified counterattack ends.

The real mystery here is Hasan’s continued presence in mainstream media.

He was rightly pushed out at MSNBC for his pro-Hamas coverage in the wake of the atrocities the terror group committed on Oct. 7.

Not only were his views as morally indefensible as his past attacks on gays and comparisons of non-Muslims to animals, they tanked the lefty network’s ratings.

So why on earth does he keep getting prime screen time?

Look, we see why The Guardian snapped him up: Seems like that paper’s main reason for existing these days is to launder Jew-hatred into respectability.

Hasan, however, is lost in bizarro world, where the murderous Islamist rapists are innocent victims of a globe-spanning, settler-colonialist conspiracy.

(Keep in mind that until Biden refused to support Hamas, Hasan thought he was one of the greatest presidents ever. He’s a one-issue pundit, it seems.)

It’s the same twisted logic that has deranged cowards writing DEATH TO ISRAEL on the Charging Bull statue.

Fulminations like that belong in the pages of Stormfront or the Final Call, not major cable news stations

But if the past is any indication, keeping this up should bring CNN a nasty ratings surprise

Couldn’t happen to a nicer network.
