So close and yet so far.
In January 2024, the Detroit Lions won their first playoff game in 32 years when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams in the Wild Card game.
Then, they did it again the next week.
Dan Campbell’s team staved off the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the Divisional Round sending them to the NFC Championship against the San Francisco 49ers and one win away from their first-ever Super Bowl appearance.
Unfortunately, Jared Goff and Co. fell short by a score of 34-31.
Now, four months removed from that heartbreaking loss, Detroit is ready to do it all over again — and maybe more — this coming season.
And if you want to be there to root on Goff, David Montgomery and Amon-Ra St. Brown to gridiron glory, tickets are available on Vivid Seats for all upcoming home games at Ford Field this season.
That includes biggies against the Bears in their annual Thanksgiving game on Nov. 28, Packers on Dec. 5, and Bills on Dec. 15.
Plus, if you want to travel with the team, the Lions are playing the San Francisco 49ers at their Levi’s Stadium on Dec. 30 in a highly-anticipated rematch of their NFC Championship game.
