Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson is going through it after his recent split from fiancée Sharelle Rosado.
During a recent installment of his “Nightcap” podcast with co-host Shannon Sharpe, Johnson said the “Selling Tampa” alum left their home and that he has yet to “break the ice” with her since their breakup.
“I’m in the house, the fact that I’m here — she left,” he said. “I’m in the house, I’m by myself… I like to laugh about a lot of things and sometimes you have to laugh and make jokes to keep from crying. That woman left me. That woman left me, man.”
Rosado, 37, confirmed their split last month, stating on X Johnson, 46, “is a free man.”
The former NFL wideout explained that Rosado might return to their home when he leaves for a work trip.
“I have a five-day gauntlet of trips that I have to do back-to-back, then she will probably come back because I’m not here,” he said. “I’m in limbo. I ain’t be left in like… when I think about all of my relationships, everybody really left me.
“… I’ve been trying to think of all kinds of things I can do but I’m kinda past the stage and age of playing games. Because actually, it’s serious. Some people think we’re playing. I’m like ‘this s–t ain’t no joke, boy’ and I’m trying to make jokes and make light of the situation. But s–t is tough.
Johnson also explained his friends, including Sharpe, haven’t been helpful.
“Until I’m able to break the ice, and you don’t want to be my moderator to help me out and find a solution…” Johnson said. “None of you motherf–kers in the [group] chat are helping me. Y’all are asking questions about what I did. F–k what I did.”
Johnson previously said that Rosado blocked him on social media.
It’s unclear why the exes, who share 2-year-old daughter Serenity, broke up.
Rosado, 37, confirmed her split with Johnson, 46, after saying she was tagged in a bunch of posts on social media.
They went public with their romance in November 2020 and got engaged in January 2023.
