Live from California, Nevada and Louisiana, it’s Dana Carvey!
The “Saturday Night Live” funnyman and “Fly On The Wall” podcast host is embarking on his brief ‘The Faces. The Characters. The Live Show’ tour this summer and fall from June through September.
That means just four chances to hear Carvey’s famous “SNL” era impressions like George H.W. Bush, Ross Perot, Mickey Rooney, Johnny Carson and Dennis Miller as well as some newer spot-on imitations like Presidents George W. Bush, Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
Don’t forget his characters like The Church Lady, Garth, Hans, Derek Stevens (the “Choppin’ Broccoli” guy) and The Grumpy Old Man either.
Plus, you may just be treated to some of Carvey’s classic material — we can’t get enough of his “100 year old man” bit — as well as stories from his time on “SNL,” “The Dana Carvey Show,” “Wayne’s World,” “The Master of Disguise” and more.
Best of all though, tickets are still available for all upcoming gigs on his tour calendar.
They are fairly affordable too.
At the time of publication, we found some seats going for as low as $63 before fees on Vivid Seats.

The lost “Hans and Franz” movie podcast
In 1991, Conan O’Brien and Robert Smigel wrote an absurd, meta screenplay based on Dana Carvey and Kevin Nealon’s Hans and Franz characters.
In the unproduced film, the lunkheaded bodybuilders would leave their Austrian home and team up with their cousin Arnold Schwarzenegger to help solve the “Girly Man Dilemma.”
Unfortunately, the future California Governor got cold feet after his self-deprecating flick “The Last Action Hero” didn’t perform as well as expected at the box office.
Now, more than 30 years later, fans can finally get a taste of the very funny movie that never was.
Conan O’Brien’s podcast “Conan Needs A Friend” has released a four-part series (Part Four is out Wednesday, June 7) reading choice excerpts from the script.
You can watch part one of four below.
“Mulligan” on Netflix
Need another Carvey fix?
Well, in addition to his podcasts “Fly On The Wall” that he hosts with David Spade and “The Weird Place” his “Twilight Zone”-inspired pod he voice acts on alongside his sons, you can also find him in the new Netflix show “Mulligan.”
The post-apocalyptic ten-episode series was released on May 12 and tells the story of what happens after an alien attack destroys Earth and humanity has a chance to start over.
A snappy trailer for the series featuring Nat Faxon, Sam Richardson, Chrissy Teigen, Tina Fey and Phil Lamarr is available here:
