Cockpit POV video shows 2 planes colliding — both ‘likely totaled’

Watch the dramatic moment a small airplane T-boned another on the tarmac at Pearland Regional Airport in Houston, Texas. Video from the Dec. 11 emergency landing was filmed by a passenger inside an AA-5 Traveler shortly after it experienced an electric failure. Since there was no way to radio to the plane up ahead — a Cessna 182T Skylane — nor could they operated the flaps to slow down quickly enough, the first plane plowed into the second in a near-fatal crash.

"Thankfully, he had no passenger in the back seat, or it would have been fatal," the passenger shared online. "In our aircraft, the impact was devastating, with aluminum crumpling and glass exploding everywhere. My shoulder pushed through the window, and I sustained slight external injuries. But thankfully, everyone was okay.”
