Not only is “Supernatural” consistently one of the best series in which to find smart, savvy, sci-fi writing and two of TV’s sexiest stars, but in recent weeks it’s also become a go-to destination for ridiculous, yet brilliant, episode titles.
It all started with the second episode of this, their fourth, season. “Are You There, God? It’s Me … Dean Winchester” was my first indication that “Supernatural” was starting to feel comfortable in its niche and have a little fun. They followed up that genius moniker five episodes later with the Halloween themed “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Sam Winchester.”
But the boys have saved the best for next. On Jan. 22 the series will debut the seasons 12th episode, titled, “Criss Angel is a Douche Bag.” Ha! Are you dying? In the ep, three aging magicians have to prove they still have a few unbelievable tricks up their sleeves – but they may not be illusions.
