THE Wall Street Journal’s executive online editor, Alan Murray, has three words for reporters who take up Twitter: “Don’t be stupid.” “If you’re Bob Woodward and you’re going to meet Deep Throat in the garage, you probably shouldn’t Tweet about it,” Murray told a packed crowed at I Want Media’s “Future of Media” discussion on Tuesday. Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey echoed the sentiment of Gawker Media founder Nick Denton and Craigslist founder Craig Newmark, and said his business won’t be for sale anytime soon: “We don’t have the sense that we’re finished,” he said.
