Under the alias DJ Snoopadelic, rapper Snoop Dogg rocked throngs of dance music aficionados Saturday at DJ extravaganza Electric Zoo on Randalls Island. To get the crowd going for his 45minute DJ set of what he called via Twitter “pop roc rap soul n funk all n 1,” Snoop brought his own party animal, NastyDog — a caged minion in a dog suit — onstage. Others who performed for 85,000 over the weekend included Moby, David Guetta and Tiesto.
