“Hamilton” creator Lin-Manuel Miranda — who left the show in July — was seen checking out an off-Broadway parody version, “Spamilton.”
Spies said Miranda was at the Triad theater “hysterically laughing” and even taking part in a standing ovation.
Gerard Alessandrini’s satire of Miranda’s historical hip-hop hit just extended its run to Oct. 30.
Miranda tweeted a photo with “Spamilton” star Dan Rosales after the show, captioned, “This is . . . the talented young man who plays me. I laughed my brains out.”
A rep for the spoof told us of Miranda’s attendance, “He seemed to love it. And now that he’s unemployed, we are officially offering him a role in ‘Spamilton’ . . . No audition necessary.”
