Adrienne Bailon and new husband Israel Houghton were très chic with their Paris wedding, but the couple will be celebrating the holidays in New York.
“We’ll be with my family and his children will be with us,” Manhattan-bred Bailon told Page Six. “I love that I get to share my [New York] family traditions with my new family.”
Bailon married Christian singer Houghton on November 11, 2016, a little more than a year after calling off her engagement to Lenny Santiago.
On Christmas, Bailon, Houghton and the kids will head to her mother’s annual “epic Christmas night party,” where the attire is formal black-tie. Putting a twist on the typical hostess gift, Bailon will likely bring along some lottery tickets, which have become her go-to gift when going to someone’s home. “It started as a joke and now it’s so funny, but I think we’re addicted,” she said.
The next morning, the co-host of “The Real” hopes her stocking is filled with lip balm and fuzzy socks. “These are things you can never have enough of, and they always go missing,” she said.
She’ll wrap up 2016 with a New Year’s Eve dinner at Sea Grill followed by a skating at Rockefeller Center.
At some point during her trip to New York Bailon will be getting her sweet on, because she knows just as well as anyone that no New York holiday season is complete without late-night Frrrozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity.
