Even though Jonathan Cheban may be in London right now, that doesn’t mean he’ll be popping in on the “Celebrity Big Brother” house any time soon.
On Thursday, the Kardashian pal-turned-reality star and self-proclaimed “#FoodGod” cleared up rumors that he would return to the hit British reality series.
“Loads of rumors today..but I’m in the UK doing another TV show as planned for 2months, I’ll be watching! Good luck to everyone in the house!,” the Season 17 cast member tweeted.
The news was later confirmed to Page Six by a source with knowledge of the situation.
On Wednesday, the Daily Mail reported that the television star would return to “Celebrity Big Brother” to defend his friend Kim Kardashian’s honor after crass comments by her ex Ray J, who’s appearing on the show’s 18th season.
During Tuesday’s season premiere, the singer introduced himself by making reference to his and Kardashian’s sex tape, “Kim Kardashian, Superstar.”
“People wanna know about the sex tape with me and Kim Kardashian,” he said while introducing himself. “Order it, put some money in my pocket … Y’all still j—ing off to the sex tape? Enjoy!”
After the comments, Cheban took to Twitter to came to his pal’s defense and call Ray J a “loser.” He also wrote “see you soon London,” which helped fuel speculation that he was returning to the series to confront the singer over his rude remarks.
Cheban may not be returning to “Celebrity Big Brother” this season, but that doesn’t mean he’s lost any love for the long-running show.
