After defending Barron Trump against online bullying, Monica Lewinsky has leapt to the defense of the person she claimed was bullying him.
On Monday she stood up for Donald Trump’s son after “Saturday Night Live” writer Katie Rich was suspended from the NBC show for tweeting that Barron, 10, “will be this country’s first homeschool shooter.”
Lewinsky, an anti-bullying activist, tweeted, “All children need to be protected from bullying + mockery … let’s be better than this.”
When Rich — who apologized for the tweet, calling it “inexcusable” — was hammered with a barrage of criticism online, Lewinsky tweeted on Tuesday: “online mobs are not the answer either. @katiemaryrich has apologized. comedy is an imperfect science. (trust me!).”
