Twins? What twins?
George and Amal Clooney made their first public appearance Saturday at the Venice Film Festival, three months after Amal gave birth to their twin children, Alexander and Ella.
The picture of elegance, the new mom looked more glamorous than ever at the premiere of “Suburbicon.”
Amal, 39, channeled the effortless grace of Audrey Hepburn in a flowing lilac Versace gown, while George, 56, accompanied her in dapper black tie.
But just because the power couple is back on the red carpet doesn’t mean they’re taking a break from gushing about their genetically lucky little bundles of joy.
“[Alexander] is a thug already. You saw him,” George said to Matt Damon during a joint interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” “He’s a moose! Literally, he just sits and he eats.”
Of daughter Ella, Clooney added, “She’s very elegant, and all eyes. She looks like Amal, thank God.”
The pair’s Italian summer is a throwback to 2013, when they first caught each other’s eye in Lake Como, where George owns a villa. They married in Venice in September 2014.
In 2015 during his Cecil B. DeMille Award speech at the Golden Globes, Clooney professed his adoration for the accomplished human-rights lawyer.
“It’s a humbling thing when you find someone to love . . . Even better if you’ve been waiting your whole life,” he said.
