Welcome to New York.
The former “Bachelorette” star told Page Six that dating in the city is worse than dating on reality TV.
“People are like ‘what’s crazier, dating on “The Bachelorette” or dating in New York City?’ New York City is crazier than anything else,” she said.
Dorfman’s life as a New Yorker — of three years — is about to be immortalized in print as her new tell-all, “Single State of Mind,” which hit stores in January.
“It’s a lot different from the first one [“I’m Not Okay”] which I’m really excited about,” the 30-year-old told us.
“The first one was about heartbreak, the second one is way more fun,” she explained while chatting at Dress for Success’ Women Helping Women panel at the Rainbow Room on Wednesday. “I had more fun writing it at least.”
And as for her take on the local dating scene, “which every woman here knows is crazy,” she said, “I have so many dating horror stories. Disaster after disaster.”
Clearly, her thoughts haven’t changed since she first made the move to the Big Apple. At the time, she told Page Six dating in New York was “insane.”
But the trials and tribulations of finding love in the city haven’t convinced Dorfman to return to the big screen in pursuit of a relationship.
“I think my reality TV days are done,” she told us. “But then again, I never know when one of my exes is going to go back.”
