Mary J. Blige is to star in the third season of “Scream,” MTV’s series based on the campy 1990s slasher flick.
Keke Palmer, C.J. Wallace, Tyler Posey and rapper Tyga have also signed up for the scary show, which is produced by Queen Latifah’s Flavor Unit Entertainment.
Blige will play the mother of a local football star “whose past comes back to haunt him.”
