A woman who sued Trey Songz for domestic violence has requested the lawsuit be dismissed, according to legal documents obtained by “Entertainment Tonight.” The request says it should be dropped “without prejudice,” meaning she can’t file her case.
Andrea Buera filed the lawsuit in August 2018 claiming the “Slow Motion” musician, 34, attacked her during that year’s NBA All-Star Weekend. Songz, whose real name is Tremaine Neverson, later argued self-defense as the reason the suit should get dismissed.
Both the Los Angeles District Attorney and City Attorney declined to file misdemeanor and felony charges against him for lack of evidence, so Buera filed a civil lawsuit against him, claiming he choked her and punched her several times in the face after he saw her talking to another man.
