Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are expected to wed within the year, sources tell Page Six.
The couple — currently starring together on NBC’s “The Voice” — have turned the soundstage at the show’s LA studios into a family playground, with Stefani’s three sons, described as “so cute and well- behaved,” constantly seen running around.
And a TV source said: “It was clear within a few months of Gwen and Blake becoming a couple that this was for keeps, it’s now just a matter of when and where.
“We’re all expecting a wedding soon. I don’t think there will be a big engagement, but they will have an intimate wedding — I would say within the year they’ll be married.
“They’re both very much family people, Gwen’s extremely close to her family who live in California, and Blake has become part of their family.”
Sparks first flew when the couple met on “The Voice” in 2014, when both of their marriages had crumbled.
They’ll celebrate their fourth anniversary next month as Shelton admitted to People in June: “It’s actually shocking that it has already been that long. It’s kind of a blur. It still feels like it’s pretty new to me. I guess it is, relatively. Four years isn’t forever, but man, it seems like it just happened in no time.”
They now split their time between Stefani’s LA home and Shelton’s sprawling ranch in Oklahoma.
Stefani remains on good terms with her ex Gavin Rossdale, father of her sons, while Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert married NYC cop Brendan McLoughlin earlier this year.
Shelton, 43, could not hide his love for Stefani when she turned 50 on Oct. 3, as he posted: “Happy Birthday @gwenstefani!!!! I love you so much it’s actually stupid… And possibly illegal in the state of California.”
