Charlize Theron wears diamonds in her hair to hide her roots at SAG Awards 2020

Charlize Theron found a decorative way to hide a grown-out dye job.

At Sunday’s 2020 SAG Awards, the “Bombshell” actress accessorized her glittering Givenchy Haute Couture crop top-and-skirt combo with a Tiffany & Co. diamond bracelet, which she wore in her hair along her center part instead of around her wrist.

“I didn’t have time to do my roots,” Theron, 44, admitted on the red carpet.

To keep the pricey bling secure, the star’s hairstylist Adir Abergel created a narrow French braid along Theron’s part before pinning the bracelet in place, a process he showed off on his Instagram Stories.

Twitter couldn’t get enough of the Oscar winner’s sparkly styling move. “Charlize Theron casually using a Tiffany necklace in her hair since she didn’t have time to dye her roots blonde is goals,” one person shared, while another fan wrote, “Just when you think there’s no fashion statement that hasn’t been made, Charlize Theron slaps a diamond bracelet on her head.”

Theron is up for two SAG Awards: Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role and Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture, both for her work in “Bombshell.”
