Jeremiah Duggar is engaged to Hannah Wissmann just two months after making their relationship Instagram-official.
“She said YES!!!!” the “19 Kids and Counting” alum, 23, wrote alongside a series of proposal photos on Thursday. “Hannah, getting to know you for the past year has been so incredible! I can’t even find the words to describe it. You are the best thing that has ever happened to me and I cannot wait to marry you. I love you!!”
Duggar then thanked Wissmann’s family as well as his twin brother, Jedidiah “Jed” Duggar, and sister-in-law Katey Nakatsu Duggar.
“Thank you to everyone who helped make the day possible!! The Wissmann family and Jed & Katey went above and beyond to make it special,” he wrote.
Wissmann, 26, also shared some snaps from the engagement, showing off the long purple dress and black suit that she and Duggar, respectively, wore for their special moment.
“YES!!!! A thousand times, yes!!!” she captioned her post. “Making memories with you is my favorite and I cannot wait to spend a lifetime making more. You are an answer to prayer, a dream come true, the love of my life and my very best friend. I love you, Jeremiah!”
Wissmann also thanked her family and Duggar’s twin and sister-in-law for surprising her with “all of [her] favorite things,” adding, “It was perfect!!”
The reality star first introduced his now-fiancée to his Instagram followers in late October, exclaiming that he had “never been so happy” and “never felt so blessed!!”
His parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar, congratulated the couple on their engagement, reposting their announcement to their Instagram Story and writing, “Congratulations!”
Jeremiah’s announcement comes one month after his older brother Josh Duggar was found guilty on one count each of receiving and possessing child porn. Josh, 33, faces up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000 for each count.
